  • If power cycling the camera and router are not working, try to connect your Blink camera to another electrical outlet.
  • If changing the power source is also not working, then try to charge your Blink camera with a USB power adapter.

Blink cameras require a strong and reliable WiFi connection to function correctly. 

  • If you see a red light on the sync module, that means your Blink camera is offline. 
  • There are several reasons for WiFi issues, such as you have a poor WiFi network, the link between the router and the sync module being interrupted. 
  • In order to fix these issues, you need to reset your Blink camera. 
  • You can check the sync module’s WiFi signal strength through the Blink app. 
  • To check the WiFi signal strength, open the Blink home monitor app, click on the “sync module status” button.

  • The red and blue lights on the Blink camera indicate the status of the camera.
  • The red light on the camera shows that your camera is not connected to the wireless network.
  • In that case, you need to reset your Blink camera.

Troubleshoot the Sync module

  • Power cycling the sync module will let you reconnect your device to the WiFi router. 
  • To power cycle the sync module, all you need to do is unplug the sync module from the power outlet and wait for 10 seconds. 
  • After that, reconnect the sync module into the power socket.
